What to expect at your NDIS planning meeting

Navigate your NDIS planning meeting with confidence. Learn about the who will be there, your needs and goals, essential documents required, and the next steps post-meeting.
WHO WILL BE THERE?
Your planning meeting is a one-on-one session with an NDIA Planner. Feel free to bring a family member, friend, or someone from your support team if you’d like. Having someone close can be helpful, especially if you find the process overwhelming. Plus, it gives the NDIS Planner insights into your life.
Meetings can be in-person or over the phone. If it’s a call, pick a quiet spot without distractions, and don’t forget to keep your phone charged!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Visit the NDIS website and fill out Booklet 2 – Planning. It might seem like a lot, but every answer contributes to crafting an NDIS plan tailored to you. The booklet also guides you on managing your plan once it’s in your hands.
